Trista Brazan, Executive Director
Trista began serving as Executive Director in January 2012. Prior to working with St. John United Way she served as Campaign & Communications Manager at United Way of St. Charles. In addition, she was worked for a St. John United Way agency, Child Advocacy Services, to recruit, train and supervise volunteers who work with abused and negelected children in state's custody. She comes to St. John United Way with a unique understanding of fundraising in rural communities. Trista has a B.A. in Mass Communications with a minor in Political Science from Louisiana State University.
Dean Torres, Outgoing Executive Director
Dean has served as the Executive Director of St. John United Way since 2001. He is a life-long resident of Reserve, and took an early retirement after a 34 year career in State Government in the area of public assistance and food stamp eligibility determinations. Prior to retirement, Dean was very involved in human care services in St. John Parish. He co-founded the St. John Interagency Council in 1991, and continues to serve as founding chair of that organization. Dean has a B.A. in Sociology with a minor in Economics from Southeastern Louisiana University.
Liz Brady, Administrative Assistant
Liz joined St. John United Way in January of 2009. She currently works assisting Dean with administrative duties. Liz is a long-time resident of St. John the Baptist Parish.
