SJUW Hires New Community Impact Manager

St. John United Way (SJUW) is pleased to welcome the newest member of their team, John Olynick.

Olynick started as SJUW’s Community Impact Manager on Monday, December 3. This is a new position for St. John United Way to assist in managing the partner agency selection process as well as its many funded programs.

SJUW funds over 24 programs and agencies providing services to St. John the Baptist Parish. Last year, over 10,000 residents were served by a United Way funded program or service.

One of SJUW’s newest programs, Imagination Library, is now providing free high quality and age appropriate books to over 550 children, age birth to five, in St. John the Baptist Parish.

Olynick is a resident of LaPlace and comes to SJUW with over 35 years of nonprofit experience.
