SJUW Welcomes New Members to the Board of Directors

St. John United Way has added three members to its Board of Directors- Paige Falgoust, Brandy Pilgram and Tomy Acosta.

The three newest members to the SJUW Board of Directors are all active members of the St. John Parish community. Each of the new members bring much needed skills and knowledge to assist the organization with its mission of creating lasting changes in St. John the Baptist Parish by supporting programs focused on education, income and health.

SJUW Provides Free Books to Local Children

St. John United Way (SJUW) wants to help improve future school performance by encouraging young children to pick up a book and read. As part of that effort, the organization sponsors Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, a program that sends free books each month to children age birth to five.

“It’s very simple. Parents or guardians can go to www.stjohnunitedway.org and click the link on our home page that brings you to the Imagination Library site to register online,” said John Olynick, Community Impact Manager for St. John United Way.

Volunteer

St. John United Way is always seeking hardworking, caring individuals to assist with special events, serve on the Board of Directors or help at partner agencies.

Now, more than ever, volunteers are needed to help make
lasting changes in our community.
